Leaders in Philanthropy
RUSH the most philanthropic fraternity on campus. Donating over 2,300 shoes, co-hosting a Color Run with Phi Mu for St. Jude's, and raising thousands of dollars for south Louisiana's recent flood all done during 2016.
Developing Men of Honor
Join a chapter that has several brothers holding leadership positions in different campus organizations like the Student Government, Inter-fraternal Council and even the Homecoming King.
Over 147 years ago three men set out to create a fraternity that was based in the ideals of Love, Truth and Honor.These ideas formed the nations one and only Honor fraternity. A fraternity that to this day still stands by these morals and strives to pursue excellence in every day life. A fraternity with the idea of completely eliminating hazing and everything associated with it. A fraternity with the goal to develop men as well as creating life long friendships. We dare to be men different from the rest, and refuse to let the rest turn us into different men.
Here at the Mu Rho chapter of Sigma Nu at Northwestern State University we strive for excellence in not only recruitment, but in every thing that we do including intramural sports, philanthropy and brotherhood. Since 1997 we have become an institute on this campus and in the community and have set ourselves apart form the rest by our actions and our philosophy on college life.
